The City of Juarez is encouraging a phone app to notify tourists regarding stuffs to do for the period of their stay there.

The BorderX digital tool became online later last year. The Mayor of the city Cruz Perez Cuellar along with several chambers of commerce inked an agreement for publicizing the app’s usage. Business holders vowed to place the QR code of the app in hotels, restaurants and stores and the city dedicated a $90,000 funding.

This app categorized by a red X – illustrative of the massive carving in North Juarez that can be perceived
from Interstate 10 in El Paso – has a day-to-day schedule of occasions, update about imminent performances and tournaments along with links to singular business websites.

Mayor Cuellar said during the signing ceremony that it is good that their inhabitants and travelers can be
educated about proceedings happening in their city and absorb where restaurants, bars and entertaining hubs are situated.

The city officials said that 25,000 folks have downloaded the app up till now.
